The Humans of the South Bay project is dedicated for the people we feel should be celebrated before they die. We interviewed them and record what they had to say. But before we interviewed them we did research about how to do correct interviews and questions we can ask them during the interview. We started by watching quick videos about "Chunky" and the first African American to go to space. After watching the animated videos we started interviewing each other for practice, I learned two things from it the first being that it is very awkward to interview fellow classmates, the next thing is two always check if you are recording because I was interviewing a fellow classmate but it wasn't recording. After the interviews we had to do research about a moment in history that has impacted our interviewee, I choose how the border has changed and the drug wars since I knew that both have affected my interviewee.
After countless of practice I finally interviewed my grandpa and it went a lot more smooth than I thought because not only have I interviewed my grandpa before but this time I didn't had to ask him that many questions. I interviewed him at my house and nothing about was very awkward most of it was pretty natural sounding to me.

This the interview outline which is where I write down all the important things that has happened in the interview such as some words that people might by confused about or interesting things that my interviewee said.
This is the script outline although it my look similar to the interview outline it is very different it is organized in an order that will make sense and is divide by categories that happened in the interview.
This is my finally transcribe draft the transcribe is basically what it would look like if I were to make it a video or make it just audio.
I decide to interviewing my grandpa because his story is one that people should hear, also because the point of the interviews is to remember them before they die so knowing that my grandpa is 83 I know that his time can come up any time now. I knew a lot about him considering he's my grandpa but I didn't knew he straight out used a knife to injured people, my grandpa didn't felt strange about me interviewing him because I interviewed him on many occasions. If I could interview someone else that not's my grandpa I would most likely interview my dad because he's someone I would want to have a conversation like that and learn more about him.
